What is bid4ameal?

Bid4ameal is an auction site which allows anyone who has access to the internet to bid for cheaper meals. It is a unique system which allows you to bid or buy now on offers that are placed on the Bid4ameal website by restaurants. It is a new and exciting concept which will save you lots of money when eating out.

How does it work?

You can browse the website without registering but when you want to place a bid or use the buy now option, you will need to register. You will then have your own unique username and password to allow you to access all offers. It is that easy! Check out 'View Demo' to get a better idea of how the site works.

Do I need to sign a contract?

No, there are no term contracts but while you are on our system you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions. If you wish to be removed from the bid4ameal system we will need one months notice by email.

Is there any joining or subscription fees to pay?

No.

How will I know if my bid has won?

You will be sent an email with all the information of your winning bid. You will also receive a text message to the mobile number that you registered.

How and when do I pay?

If you use the buy now option you will pay immediately via a secure Paypal system. If however you choose the bidding system and your bid is successful, all payments must be made 24 hours after the auction has ended via Paypal. You can also use debit and credit cards.

Are there any other payment options?

Sorry, only Paypal, and credit or debit cards can be used through PayPal pages.

What will happen if my booking goes down in numbers?

Monies will be refunded per person as soon as we are able to contact the restaurant and get confirmation.

Can I add more people onto my booking once bidding has ended, or once I have used the buy now option?

Yes you can, as long as the restaurant has the availability for the extra people but you will ONLY receive the discounted price for the amount of people you had originally bidded for

Will the restaurant have all my booking details?

The restaurant will immediately be sent all your booking details once your payment has been successful.

What happens if I can not make my reservation?

You will need to contact the restaurant and cancel your booking. Then our 21 day money back guarantee policy will apply.

Will I be treated differently from other customers?

No, you will be treated exactly the same as the full paying customers and be given the same menu and service.

Will there be anything else payable on the night?

Yes, all drinks, side orders and supplements will be payable on the night directly to the restaurant at their normal prices.

Will there be a service/cover charge to pay?

If the service/cover charge is compulsory it will be included in the offer, if it is discretionary it will be added on your bill.
