Bid4ameal is an auction site which allows anyone who has access to the internet to bid for, or by using our 'buy now' option, cheaper meals. It is a unique system which allows the restaurateur to have complete control over all offers. The system is designed to fill empty seats. It allows you to directly access the website with your unique user name and password to offer meals at a minimum price. You are able to choose amount of covers, time slot, date and price per person.
You will need to register by clicking the Restaurant sign up link on our homepage. Once that is complete you will then follow simple step by step instructions on how to register your restaurant or restaurants. When that is complete, you will be able to advertise your offers on the website. It is that easy!
No, there are no term contracts but while you are on our system you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions that apply. If you wish to be removed from bid4ameal’s services we will need one months notice via email to info@bid4ameal.com.

Bid4ameal website has an optional PPC system (pay per click) in place which will allow potential customers to gain access to your restaurants website via the bid4ameals website at a cost of 25 pence per click per visit. You will always be in full control of the cost by placing your own capped daily limit on our PPC system.
There will links to your website via Bid4ameals website if the customer decides to use these links you will be charged a fee of 25 pence per click per visit to your website. This will be automatically deducted from the credits that you have placed on our PPC system and will not exceed your daily limit.
If you go over your capped amount in other words your daily limit, the customer will not be able to access your website via bid4ameals website. You can rectify this by raising your daily amount on your restaurant control panel under Advertise your website (ppc).
You will receive an automated email and text message once the customer has won a bid, and another email and text message when payment has been made which could be on the day of the offer. All messages will contain customer details and booking information. The bidding will end approximately 48 hours prior to the meal date then the customer will have 24 hours to pay, if the customer chooses the buy now option you will be informed immediately of payment.
When the customer arrives you will need to request their unique code from them. You can then call us free on 0800 840 9258, once the unique code has been matched with your restaurants pin code the monies will then be transferred into your PayPal account or into your selected bank account. If you do not have a PayPal account you will need one to use our services. Click here if you would like start setting up a Paypal account.
It is the customer’s responsibility to contact you if they are running late or unable to make their reservation. You will already have the customers contact details via the confirmation email and text from Bid4ameal, and if you wish to you can call the customers directly to confirm. If the customer can not make there reservation they will have 21 days to re-arrange their booking at a convenient time that suits both party’s.
If the reservation goes up it is the customer’s responsibility to ring the restaurant and check for availability, if the restaurant has availability then the added customers will be charged at the restaurants normal prices on the night.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform the restaurant if the reservation has gone down in numbers. The customer will receive a 100% refund per person once we have received confirmation of this by the restaurant.
